Description
This is one of our latest kits and designed to represent a larger loading gauge than our original kits while remaining in oo9/4mm scale. The model has a scale width of around 6ft 6ins (7ft over running boards) and is broadly similar to the size of rolling stock found on the Ffestiniog Railway. The model represents a guards brake and parcel van with flat paneled sides. Please see our other listings if you want a similar coach but fitted with guards duckets on each side. It complements our Large Loading Gauge Semi-Open and Composite coaches.
The main body ends and sides are in one piece. The kit also includes the roof, interior, buffer beams, running boards and a two part chassis. Full assembly instructions are also provided.
The kit comes complete with metal wheels on 15mm pinpoint axles for extra smooth running.
Printing is done on an FDM printer, so the kit is PLA plastic, not resin. This means it’s far less prone to warping than resin kits.
A note about couplers: Because everyone has their own favourite couples and to help keep coats down, we do not include any form of coupling device. You should investigate different types to see which one best suits your needs.
